How we can help

If the plan was being paid for through a pension or company then you will also need to inform them.

You might not always feel ready to talk or remember something you forgot to ask us. That’s why we’ve created this guide that might be useful for you to read in your own time.

If you have an active policy with us, remember you have your myWellbeing benefit. The confidential counselling and advice services might offer some support at this time. Log in to your account to find this information.

There are also support groups available, and plenty of websites out there which provide advice and guidance on grief and how to get help and counselling if you need it.

Please send a copy of the death certificate and any supporting documentation from hospital or GP to confirm inpatient stay (where applicable) to bereavements.team@simplyhealth.co.uk

Please note that some of our renewal letters and marketing mailings are produced a few weeks before they are issued. Please accept our sincere apologies should you still receive letters addressed to the deceased member in the next few weeks.
